Baseball at night

Before professional baseball was integrated with the signing of Jackie Robinson, black baseball athletes played in what was called the Negro Leagues. Baseball for African Americans began soon after the civil war and enjoyed popularity among various ethnic groups. This depicts an outfielder at night before the addition of nighttime lighting, which started in the Negro Leagues. Since I intended to experiment with chiaroscuro effects, I wanted to simulate playing ball by the lights of automobiles.
